Description of the archival unit

Descriptive title: Bastardello di stanziamenti (allocations)
Original title: Stanziamenti segnato SS
Terminal dates: 1421 September 1 - 1425/6 March 18
Physical description: register, tall narrow format, 412x144mm, bound with modern parchment covered boards with leather reinforcements, consisting of 129 original paper leaves, of which cc. 116v-129 are blank. Two numbering systems are present: a modern one at the bottom of the pages, covering cc. 1-129, and a coeval one on the upper right for cc.1-114. Due to an error of rebinding, cc. 122-125 are bound at the beginning, followed by c. 1, where the incipit is conserved. In the coeval numeration the numbers 76 and 102 have been repeated, causing discrepancies with the modern numeration.

Conservation: The lower part of the register shows traces of water damage (1966 flood), with consequent discoloration of ink.

Annotations: the incipit of the administrator Soldini is followed by a badly faded inscription written by his successor: "[É] per me Bartolomeo d'Angnolo Ciai [É] da dì primo [di gennaio] 1422"
